About POLAR STUDIO

POLAR STUDIO | Visual Effects Studio was founded in 2012 by Ricardo Robles, Héctor Vázquez and Jonatan Guzman in Guadalajara. The plan was to focus with a small, hand-picked team on Local TV and feature film effects – but that plan failed. 

Today, the ARIEL award-winning company for best visual effects in “La cuarta compañia” has roughly 10 permanent staff members in addition to 10 freelance artists in Guadalajara making it one of the biggest VFX studios in MÉXICO. POLAR STUDIO has become "partner in crime" for companies like DISCOVERY (award company for best content in 2018) and also produces more and more animated features. 

Our supervisors are reliable, creative partners for directors, production designers and directors of photography alike – from the first to the final step of the way.
